The equipment of the classrooms, especially in public primary schools, is often in very poor condition. Ilchalai Primary School made national news in Kenya because the school, with 461 students, had desks and tables for only about 100 students. Thus, the majority of the students had to sit on the floor, which makes writing and learning properly impossible. Additionally, skirts as school uniforms lead to some parents not sending their female students to school if they have to sit on the floor.

With your support, we were able to equip the school with 120 tables and benches to improve the learning conditions for the students. Through our project, 360 students can now write and sit at school desks, enabling them to learn better and follow the lessons more effectively. The remaining tables were provided by the parents.
