In the summer of 2022, we carried out the construction of washblocks and toilet buildings at Olgirra High School. The new toilets not only signify an improvement in hygiene but also result in less odor nuisance and a healthier environment for the students.
This allowed us to significantly improve students’ learning environments, reduce illnesses caused by germs, and above all create important conditions for girls to be able to attend school even during their periods.
The new toilet facilities are accessible for people with disabilities and also offer gender-separated washing facilities.
The old toilet buildings were in very poor condition and not accessible.
