In the fall of 2024, thanks to your support, we laid the foundation for the construction of a wash and toilet building at Ng’asakinoi Primary School. The school had only 3 toilets for 285 girls, which were in very poor condition. Just before the start of construction of our new facilities, these completely collapsed, which led the authorities to order the closure of the school.

Thanks to the swift help of the Big Girls Foundation and our donors, we were able to save the school from closure and build sufficient clean toilets for 285 girls. The new toilets not only improve hygiene but also reduce odors and create a healthier environment for the students. This has significantly improved the learning environment, reduced diseases caused by germs, and, most importantly, created the essential conditions for girls to attend school even during their periods.
